Does the world need another car website? Probably not, but over the past few years I have been gathering information on a model which for me holds an unusual - some would say unhealthy - fascination: the Lamborghini Miura.

On this site I have tried to offer all the information I can about those Miuras which survive from the 762 (opinions differ on numbers) build between 1966 and 1973. I have incorporated information from the famous Coltrin/Marchet book 'Miura' (published in 1982 when much of the information was still relatively fresh, and still the definitive work), also from marque historian Stefano Pasini's excellent work: 'Lamborghini Miura', not to mention from the factory's unofficial Chasis_Number listing dating from 1986, and, most importantly, from the countless cars and owners I have encountered and enthused with over the past 13 years.

There is still much information to be gathered and verified, and I cannot guarantee that everything on this site is 100% accurate, but with your help and futher work I hope to ensure that is the definitive record of all Miuras. All contributions will be gratefully acknowledged.

This Miura SVJ, the first of just four built by the factory for VIP clients, cost nearly twice as much as the contemporary Miura SV on which it was based. Unlike the original Miura Jota which inspired this car’s styling, the SVJ was intended purely for road use as a louder, faster and more extravagant version of the standard SV. Former fa
